This is a new methodology proposal, introducing a pioneering framework for quantifying and crediting Scope 3 emission reductions from informal gig economy transport workers (e.g., ride- share, delivery drivers). It leverages real-time digital Measurement, Reporting, and Verification (dMRV) to transform climate mitigation into a verifiable, redistributive income stream for low- income workers, unlocking a new category of high-integrity carbon credits unaddressed by existing methodologies.
