The proposed methodology aims to mitigate harmful algae blooms (HABs) by inducing Programmed Cell Death (PCD), causing toxin-releasing algae to sink and be permanently sequestered through sedimentation. This process not only removes CO2 from the atmosphere but also addresses environmental and health risks associated with HABs, offering a potential solution to the increasing prevalence of these blooms.
